ProjectRugot is an initiative of the TalkMaths programme, working to facilitate the construction of three new classrooms at Rugot Primary School, Tororo District, Uganda.
As part of our fundraising efforts for Rugot School, Talk Maths would like to invite you The ProjectRugot Art Exhibition 2014 on Saturday 20th December at Freman College, Buntingford.
This exhibition will contain works created by local artists and both current and former students of Freman College. All works are based around interpretations of the theme ‘Africa’. The exhibition will also feature the work of renowned sculptor John W. Mills, after whom one of the school houses is named and whose public works include The National Firefighters Memorial outside St. Paul’s Cathedral and The Monument to the Women of WWII on Whitehall.
Many of the works will be on sale on the night, with all proceeds going to theProjectRugot fund. The work of John W. Mills we be autioned live on the night.
Come and enjoy a relaxing evening of fine art, live music, and mulled wine, all in support of a truly life changing construction project.
